Mobile Patrols

Mobile patrols are designed to give a sporadic cost-effective security presence and visual deterrent which may leave anyone watching your premises wondering and unsure! They will not know when we shall appear as mobile patrols are normally staggered over the required period of cover. As a client you can choose how many patrols over a period you want, we can advise but ultimately you decide. On average clients normally would have three patrols over a night between 19:00hrs and 06:00hrs. These visits as mentioned above will be varied throughout the specified period unless of course we are instructed otherwise. Visits are recorded to give evidence of attendance and our vehicles have trackers fitted. Our vehicles are fully sign written in company livery, providing a visual deterrent and our officers are fully uniformed. The vehicles are also fitted with strobe lighting and spotlights. Warning boards will be displayed around your site warning anyone that your property is protected by GTS Security. The warning boards also have our telephone number on, this can be of assistance to the police or members of the public if they want to advise/report any suspicious activity bearing in mind the police cannot always attend. Any incidents are recorded on the officer’s handheld device and emailed to you at the time submitted so that you have an update live, photographs can be attached to the report.

So how does the mobile patrol visits work?

Mobile visits are normally an external patrol however internal patrols can also be incorporated. If you were considering mobile patrols we would visit your site and along with you look at what you wanted to achieve and together agree a solution such as what we were patrolling, areas of concern, proof of attendance points, how many patrols between what times etc. We would then draft an instruction so that our officers knew exactly what to do on a visit and collect any keys such as gate keys. The visit itself would simply be the officer arriving and patrolling the agreed areas to ensure there were no signs of intrusion, damage, fire, flood and checking all windows, doors, outbuildings, vehicles etc. The officer would register their presence using their device by swiping tags placed around the site. This would give you and insurers detail such as date time and location to prove attendance and the area visited. It may also assist the police if an incident had occurred as we would be able to determine an approximate time of the incident. This type of service can be set up very quickly most of the time on the same day. In emergencies we could act immediately with cover.
