GTS are based in Leicester and service businesses in Leicester and Leicestershire we specialise in mobile response services so key holding and alarm response, mobile patrols, void property inspections, locking and unlocking services, lone worker emergency response, tenant response for landlords, building sites/projects and local event work. Our clients consist of Local authorities, schools, offices, industrial estates, car, caravan sales, hire companies, offices, apartment blocks, student accommodation, private residence, solar farms and building contractors. We operate 24/7 365 days a year and now we have that additional support which is our dog unit with an extra pair of eyes excellent hearing great sense of smell and big teeth.

So why a dog unit?

To strengthen and support our team of mobile officers and widen of scope of work we have recruited a dog handler with his trusted friends Hazard and Kaos who are all trained to NTIPDU General Purpose level 2.

So, what difference will having dogs make?

The dog unit will not only carry out normal patrol duties but also support other officers on confirmed alarms and other duties. Why because:

1. Dogs can detect intrusion and studies show that burglars are less likely to target business where they know dogs patrol.

2. Due to the threat of physical harm dogs act an effective deterrent to criminals.

3. A dog barking can work to deter undesirables.
